Let's go ladies. Got each other for company so that's a plus.

Diyas could be a rotten draw, depending if she's got her game back after injury......and considering she just made the final of a 100k, it looks like she has.

All we ask is Laura is consistently picking up points. It will be good to have several other Brits with her. Good win.

And hopefully they will benefit from some of her experience too. Comfortable looking win against a reasonable junior.

They were *4-3 40-15 up in the second set only to lose the next 3 points to be broken and then broken again in the final game. So both sets were very competitive, just pity that the second set slipped away.

Katie broke at the start of the 1st set only to get broken back straight away. No more breaks until the 11th game, which left Katie serving for the set. A double fault took her 15-40 down. She saved both bps then double-faulted again but saved the 3rd bp too. She now has her 1st set point but can't convert. Are they going to finish the set in less than an hour (58m so far) - another set point ... 2nd serve ... taken, phew 7-5

Katy has been broken back, Diyas winning 10 out of 11 points at one stage, and Diyas now has 3 bps to win her 4th game in a row - she takes the 3rd - 2-4*

Katie lost the 2nd set 6-1 but nearly went an early break up in the 3rd. Couldn't convert though - 7-5 1-6 *1-1

Katie edges Tanaka 7-5 1-6 7-6(4)

Katy has lost 11 games in a row since winning the first 2 Serving to stay in the match, ITF live scores show Diyas breaking to 30 to win the match then winning 2 more points, then Katy winning 6 points in a row then losing 2 more, so who knows what' going on ... now corrected to show an 0 & 2 win for Diyas, as feared
