I am surprised Ryan didn't go the college route as he had quite a profile on the southern Californian, a coach in San Diego actually asked me if I had heard of him in the same breath as discussing the local boys who were off to college next year.
Keegan Smith and Timmy Sah were two seniors at school he tipped, and indeed they won the open doubles at Ojai. Quite nice that they are good mates but off to UCLA and Stanford respectively, interesting as Smiths uncle is the coach at USC and his cousin there too on the team. Keegan recently reached the SF of the Bakersfield ITF beating Bradley Klhan in the QF in straight sets and loosing to Kimer coppejans in the SF.
