Looks like some pretty tough draws for QR1 of a challenger.

Also, I was under the impression that Jay was going to Korea as well. I hope that minor injury that caused him to retire in his last match isn't more serious than he thought.

Those are tough matches. Presumably most of the guys ranked in the Challenger tour who dont play clay have decided to give the Korean circuit a go. Be fortunate to get a couple of the guys through to QR2.

Presumably Brydan is in the main draw? Would be nice for him to play with some of the other Brits, he is often ploughing a lone path with the events he selects, at least in relation to the GB players.

Salisbury and Broady are in the second of the four seeding brackets with Corrie, Ward and Glasspool all in the fourth one.

He probably doesn't have much connection with the other British players. He grew up, and is still based I believe, in Australia with dual nationality.  He only decided to switch from Aus to UK a couple of years ago after falling out big time with Tennis Australia due to some pretty unpleasant and childish behaviour on his part.  As far as I can tell, and I don't follow Brydan particularly closely, he seems to have grown up a bit during his time under the British flag and is behaving in a less offensive manner.

Poor Ed ! That's heart-breaking.

But very nice score from Liam

And good to see Lloyd getting the win - Freddie is no muppet, even at 33

Decent of Joe to take the top-400 player to three sets too

Let's hope Liam and Lloyd can advance further. After the draw we started with a maximum two possible qualifiers and could still have two. Tough though.
