Re: your comment on his schedule Jaggy, I think there are a few factors with Marcus to consider:
- He has a new baby at home and he probably wants to be efficient with his time away from home
- He has spoken to media recently about his ranking expectations - short (top 300) and longer term (entering slams as of right). So I think his approach is quite measured in a way which is quite admirable, considering all of the post Wimbledon hype.
I am guessing he is saving himself for the run up to Wimbledon on the grass. I am sure he'll get some WCs for the challenger events at the very least which one would hope, would give him the opportunity to rise a bit quicker up the rankings.
All in all, my opinion he is heading for much better things. The potential and talent is there in abundance. It will happen.
