Leeds United

Ha, bit unusual but just different circumstances combining with you being up to date with fixtures and Burnley being two behind coming into this weekend.

You played before them this weekend.

You miss a previously scheduled fixture vs Chelsea the next weekend due to the FA Cup SFs while Burnley play..

Burnley play a catch-up previously postponed game the next midweek.

And then Burnley play before you the weekend after that.

After that you both have played 33 matches wirh 5 left. Each one game behind which are fitted in in a midweek. And everything more in line going into the closing stages.

Hope Leeds enjoy their wee break

We will enjoy our 'wee break' a bit more after today. Up the Canaries.

Well, a new record has been set by Leeds tonight.

Our U23s are playing Man City and we have smashed the attendance record for a PL2 match with a crowd of 21,321. The previous record was 17,525.

Amazing experience for our young players to play in front of such a big crowd.

Wow , thats good. I went to see leeds play Liverpool once in the old Central League, the reserve league back in the 70s and 80s or so. Pool won 3-0 I think. Crowd was 35000.

Big day Bob! Burnley losing helped a little but we really need Everton to lose or not win and Leeds to at least get a point today.

Fingers crossed

That Burnley result was absolutely huge, and in some ways, as big as a Leeds win. Obviously it can change quick and who knows they could get a result away at Spurs or something, but as it stands, if they're losing 1-3 at home to Villa, both main defenders now out, chances are they will likely lose their next two of Spurs away and Villa away, so it wouldn't surprise me too much if Leeds (and especially Everton) were actually safe before the final day. A point in your next two matches, mainly vulnerable Chelsea (home) and it could look a lot better, although appreciate it's much easier for me to say looking at it from the outside, but that really was a hammer blow for Burnley yesterday, their most 'winnable' remaining match.

Big match at both ends coming up.

Nightmare start here though, and Everton have just taken the lead as well, but with Watford away (relegated, and lost 11 in a row at home) and a couple of decent looking home games coming up, and just generally having decent players like Pickford, Richarlison, DCL (when fit), Mena, Gordon etc., I did think Everton would pull themselves away, and it will probably ultimately come down to Leeds and Burnley.

Ayling off. Won't play again this season as that will be a 3 match ban.

Could things get any worse ?

Horrific opening 30 minutes Bob. Thankfully goal difference won't make any difference to your season, well it might, but the damage has been done in that respect, but main thing here is to make sure you keep your heads and not get any more reds - if Raphinha got a 3 match ban then that could be curtains.

2-1 Everton now as well, but I really do think it's between you and Burnley given Everton's remaining fixtures.

Disaster. Id say we are hot favourites now to head down. Losing to arsenal I expected but I didnt have Everton winning

Glass half full: Burnley will lose their last three games and #LUFC only need one more point to stay up.

Glass half empty: Play like we did in the 1st half today and we won't get it.

Two horse race, but couldn't be more finely poised from an odds perspective. I feel a bit guilty as I've been wanting Burnley to win for the past few weeks, but now hope they continue to lose. You'd like to think they'd lose their next two, so hopefully you can at least get yourself back into the driving seat in these next 2 matches.

From Leeds being err clearly safe a few weeks ago, I do think you are now veering too much the other way. Does look very much now between Leeds and Burnley but one that could go either way. Hope you stay up!
