There's also a job going free at Bradford city today as it happens. Mccall got the sack as well.

Good to see the new regime has brought such stability to Leeds

Paul Heckingbottom has been sacked after just 4 months in charge. They say that they want to bring in a "more experienced" manager. Well, Heckingbottom is 4 months more experienced than when they chose to appoint him ...

If you saw my tweet this morning, you will have seen that I was speculating over what changed more often - the Leeds manager or the Italian government.  Must be a pretty close run thing.

As for more experience, perhaps they have lined up Arsene Wenger as a replacement. wink

That's about as likely as Andy Murray winning Roland Garros this year.

I hear its Zidane who walked out at Real the moment he knew there was a vacancy.

Hmm, had less than 3 years as a first team manager.

Yep agreed too much of a risk for Leeds but could find a job at somewhere like Falkirk.

Rumours all over twitter that the next manager will be Argentinian Marcelo Bielsa, known as the crazy one and mentor to Guardiola and Pochetino.

If any of these now avaliable managers fancy coming up here to Paisley, there is a vacancy with St Mirren, with Jack Ross having jumped ship for Sunderland. Good luck to him!

We offer a newly promoted team to the Scottish Premiership and many attractive places to see ( not that far from Paisley! )

The guy I feel sorry for is Gary Rowett he does well and keeps getting sacked only to be replaced by ex Chelsea players who are clueless.

Jack Ross in contrast may have played a blinder.,Sunderland will be interesting to watch, the ethos has changed from being the car crash to that of the insurer sorting it out.
There is a good chance the new chairman Stewart Donald knew exactly what he was doing at Eastleigh and having done it at non league will know in detail what makes a club tick, OK there will be differences in scale but he will have a good eye for value. Also impressed by the relatively smooth transition of ownership at Eastleigh when the club has retained much of the present directors and recruited an experienced managerial team.

Disappointed for Sunderlands ladies side that they didnt get a place in the championship primarily because of the sins of Ellis Short not the guys coming in.
