R32: Laura ROBSON (GBR) [2] 208 v. Paula KANIA (POL) 272 (CH 128, Jun. 2016) > H2H 2-0* (Senior 0-0) > 2008* Slovak Indoor Tournament - G2 - Carpet, Indoor - R32 - Robson by 7-6(3) 6-2 > 2007* Prokom Cup, Poland - G4 - Clay - LR(Q), ML[3] - SF - Robson by 7-5 6-3 * Junior Results
Kania is the second highest ranked non-seed, and Laura would be scheduled to meet the highest ranked non-seed in R16 (Ya-Hsuan Lee). Courts are apparently sloooow.
In the first set Laura took 2/4 BPs against 2/3. Points were 46-41 so about level going into the TB. Many more points played on Kania's serve than Laura's ( 51-36 ) so Laura certainly did appear to be putting on more pressure.

Even though their previous meetings were 9 & 10 years ago and Laura was 13/14 at the time, the form guide was remarkably accurate with Laura winning a tight first set then taking control in the second.
