Wouldn't have made the MD cut, and qualies are absolutely stacked for this level.

She's entered for Yokohama $25K this week instead, where she could be #2 seed.

The way the points defences are, if Tara has a good month or so, and Heather and Naomi don't, she could become British #2 or certainly get close.

Hope though that they all have a good period coming up.

Em made the painfully long trip from Sharm, only to not make the cut in singles or doubles. Exactly the same situation as for the WTA event in Taipei earlier this year.

Next week's field in Shenzen is tougher because there are no $25ks, so to be honest there's little point sticking around, which may be why she's still on the list for Sharm (qualies) next week.

Good job Tara. I was initially a little disappointed she wasn't testing herself in Indian Wells and Miami, but I guess this trip makes a bit more sense.
