Brydan beat Tokuda 3 & 3 in Toyota in 2013, though Renta (junior CH 39 in 2016) was just 15 at the time.

L16:  Marko Tepavac (SRB) WR 205 (CH = 174 last October) vs (Q) Brydan Klein WR 275

The Serb did for the third seed, Lee Duck-hee, in three sets in his first round match...

The doubles result hardly comes as a surprise, given the opposition.  hmm

QF: (Q) Brydan Klein WR 275 vs (Q) Blake Mott (AUS) WR 305 (CH 251 in January)

Tepavac and Mott accounted for the two seeds in Brydan's quarter with their R1 wins against the #3 and #5 seeds respectively.
