Saffron Dowse is born in 2002, so a real tiddler.

Tanysha is only a year older but has played quite a few adult tournaments.

Both based in Majorca, I believe, under Jofre Porta.

Saffron Dowse sounds like a treatment you might find at an especially pretentious spa; "oh, yes, darling, I had the most amazing saffron dowse, cleaned me right up..."

The Kariann American girl (born Jan 1999) who Tanysha (born Aug. 2001) beat is actually JWR 138 (CH 126) in Juniors.

So that's an amazing results from our young player !

Tiffany is a powerful player and a good athlete.  She had a good record at Middle Tennessee State, even though they were not in the strongest conference for a lot of her time there, but doesn't seem to be able to get past the starting gate on the pro tour.  She seems only to surface from time to time so maybe is coaching or playing european money tournaments (quite a few of her tournaments have been in France) in between times to help with the finances, but I can't help feeling she needs to get a move on and concentrate on getting that ranking.

I saw Tiffany a few years ago and liked her play. Very powerful and aggressive. Surprised she has not broken through yet.

The thing that surprised me, too, is that I had a chat to her mum 18 months or so back and she was quite adamant that Tiffany would be turning pro in Jan (last year).
But we really didn't see her on the tour - a little bit, here and there.
And - as mentioned - she's seemingly quite installed in France, playing a lot of money tournaments (she won a tournament in Limoges in January, and one in December, and played another then too).
But don't know exactly what she's doing there in terms of career....
