I suppose this is a bit gossipy, and not even sure if she qualifies as a Brit or not. I live in Harrogate so found it of interest. 

Anyway, Sascha Morris, Australian Tennis player ranked #15 in O45 ladies, has been jailed for 8 1/2 years for fraud relating to holiday properties in Greek Islands. She is an Aussie but lived in Harrogate and Eastbourne and obviously played lots of events in the UK based on her profile. Sorry if this salacious but I thought some may find it of interest

There is great video of tennis being used in San Quentin prison to rehabilitate prisoners on utube definitely worth a look.
