Interesting to see Australia overtake Argentina; I like seeing Australia strong in tennis, it feels right on several levels.
Funny that, but yes, I'm the same.
I've a real soft spot for Aussie tennis players - they seem like such a nice bunch when they travel, we need non-European players to balance it out, they have so many 'characters' (both in the past and now), there's a whole heap of reasons .....
So overall, I spit on their cricket team (figuratively, of course ), have no real love for their rugby team - but am a real supporter of their tennis players !

GB men also seem to be in a fall currently, again Canada close by now , so both men and womens looking over their shoulder. Hopefully Andy (sorry Cam) can bring a boost this week?
The GB top 10 seem to be in a continual fall for quite a few weeks/months now, or is that my memory playing tricks. Italy looking extremely close now
Certainly a fall for the GB average ( I'm more interested in comparison with previous self than with other countries ), most particularly over the last 3 months or so.
Wasn't great earlier in the year but I had hopes that the GB women's form would turn and our top 10 average was kind of holding up though helped by Naiktha's arrival Form, including Naiktha, and injuries have more in fact generally turned for the worse, though with a few bright lights, and the average reflects this. Been on a general fall since the end of June.
18/06/18 190.1 ( best this century - source blob )
24/12/18 195.6
24/06/19 194,5
30/09/19 217.5 ( worst since the end of 2017 )

Yes, also on a fall of late, though less so than with our women and much better than last year when our average reached over 290 at one point.
With same dates as with our women:
18/06/18 259.3
24/12/18 256.3 ( 238.9 with Jan C coming in )
24/06/19 210.8
30/09/19 224.7
Our men's top 10 average has not been better than our women's since the start of 2018 but getting fairly close.
And yes Andy, now our live #11 after his Beijing R1 win ( live #6 if he beats Cam ), may soon have a really significant effect on thingd.

Yes Andy is about to have a significant effect on the men's rankings! Is now up to GB #6 and LR 286
As I understand it, Leon Smith asked the men to fall back a bit and avoid moving ahead of the womens top 10, just to help build morale, until Andy couldn't hold back his real form any longer.
