We will need 150-250 ranking places to overtake the three nations above us and make it stick. It's all down to "where the points will come from".

Katie B, Emma, Harriet, Heather, Lily and Jodie all have large numbers of points to come off over the next 3 months. Also, Emily A and Beth both lose about a third (50) of their points by end-Feb and they are mainly doubles players these days.

Fran has only 34 off but health-wise it's probably too big an ask. Only Sonay(38 off), Armani(29 off) and Ella(4 off) seem in a position to substantially improve their rankings. Difficult for Sonay as she is already top 100. I think everybody else is too far back to get into contention.

There is always the unexpected. One or more of our players could hit a "purple patch" or the opposing nations could go into meltdown
