Uzhylovksky was the q1, but has just given his opponent in the FQR a walkover.  Wonder if he'll play in the doubles...

Ovcharov was the q2...

The Turk took out the q4, David's doubles partner, on his way to the main draw...

 Worth adding that Kirci, just turned adult, has no junior ranking but Ovcharov, also born 1998, was JWR 80.

Think Luke Johnson is a tad worse ranked that 193 though, unfortunately - currently 1934.

Think Luke J will win and David lose.....which is hardly revolutionary predicting !!!

If you want to see the form Liam is in it is worth watching the London tennis tube offering a recent British tour final between Liam and Ed Corrie which to be honest wouldn't be out of place on the challenger tour.

The commentary is also very enjoyable, makes Mike C of Livestream fame sound wired.

Some great tennis played by both, Liam looking very fit, hitting the ball hard and consistently. Hopefully signs of a breakthrough season.
