British Tour 2017

There seems to be either/both a real problem with the scheduling (due to the weather?)

A lot of the doubles matches have had to be conceded by walkover, mostly it would seem because the players are also involved in other matches.

As this is extremely likely, you'd think that scheduling would take it into account; it's a shame.

It looks as if the walkovers have generally been conceded when one or both of the players involved has been knocked out of the singles the day before.  They did manage to get through a lot of matches some days by using the three clay courts as well as the five hard courts (32 on Wednesday and 28 on Thursday)

Nottingham is staging its ITF at the same time as a short-format Tier 2 British Tour event (excellent idea, make a real feature of the Tour event, give it a bit of atmosphere).

The semis are as follows:

(5) George Houghton v (4) Kyle Fellows

(2) Dom Beesley v (3) Henry Beesley

Exeter, Tier 2:

FINAL: (7) Seb Harris def. Sam Bossem 6-1 0-6 6-3

This gives Seb (born 1999) a wildcard into an ITF quali draw in the next 12 months, so well done to him.
