In its dog-ged pursuit of trivialisation, the WTA is second to none.
I do find it quite annoying that the professional body charged with promoting women's tennis seems constantly to assume that women's tennis is not interesting enough in itself and that they therefore have to focus on dresses, pets, and goodness knows what else to attract an audience.
Have to say that the worst part for me is the area on the right in the "Find News on players" section. They are still currently listing Maria Sharapova. Surely they could at least take her off until her ban has expired.
