Shame for Ewan but at least it was Jamie who got the benefit.
Ryan lost to the same opponent in three sets last week - pretty much the same score, but with the third set the other way round - so well done to him this time round.
Nice to see 18 year-old Luke Simkiss getting some good results, like the rest of the cohort, too.
Some crazy matches going on here - Oliver beat Luke from a set and 5-6* down, saving 3 match points in the 2nd set tiebreak, which he won 13-11, and going on to win 3-6 7-6(11) 7-6(5)!
Jamie retired against Holmgren, with the Dane 1-6 6-4 2-1 up
Ryan was a set and *0-4 (then *1-5 down) against Walch but recovered to 5-5, saving 2 match points at 2-5* and another at 4-5*. He then changed ends 1-5 down in the tiebreak and won the next 3 points but then sadly lost the next 2 so the fightback was all for nothing Walch won 6-3 7-6(4)
