Not really sure where else to put this tragic news that I found; but the father of Daniela Seguel, who Mandy lost to here, fainted while watching his daughter play in a $10k final, and then died at hospital.
Tragic. I see play was suspended for a short while when he fainted. He was taken to a nearby Santiago hospital, play restarted and then they had to relay the news to her that he'd died. Poor girl. Condolences to all family.
