Katie seems to be getting some challenging draws perhaps she is entering the doubles just to get the maximum number of games in.

That said Vrlijic is a journeyperson? player who at her peak has beaten Kerber but recently lost in Belgium to Katie's nemesis Blinkova against whom Katie lost a ding dong battle in the final of the Junior masters in Chengdu at the beginning of the year.

I hoping for 4 Brits in the QF's please!!
