I think it'll be much closer this time, but Julia must have a few scars after that one, not a bad draw overall either, don't want to look too far ahead but Townsend in the semis would be great to see.
Their last match in the final is recorded on YouTube, and I'm sure the background research will make far more pleasant viewing for Laura than for Julia.
I expect it to be a fair bit closer this time, but the first few games will be key as if Laura can stamp her authority early on her opponent might well start thinking back to the previous match.
Yep, a very decent draw for Laura with, if she wins her R1, a likely R2 against the 6th seed Gonzalez PAR ranked 150. GL Laura :)
Gonzalez did really well at the US open as well, in fact she made to round 2 where she lost to Pliskova and stretched her to 7-5 in a set, so that will be very tricky assuming nothing untoward happens today.
