Eden was quickly two breaks down. But clambered back. Then got broken again, allowing the Romanian player to serve for the set.

But Eden broke back, managed to hold (no mean achievement in this match) and then broke again to take the first set 7-5

Is now *2-0 up in the second

If Eden wins this, it could be enough for a top 25 spot with Laura D not playing  smile

Punctuation confuse

The WTA unranked junior (with basically no junior ranking either) took the first set 6-2 against Eden.

But Eden managed to squeeze the second set tie-break, winning it 7-6(2)

Into a third.....

Lamens appears to be heading for the final, a set up against the 6th seed in the SF.
