Evo has pulled out of Shenzhen - I expect he may give Asia a miss

Probably needs a break after DC, also carrying a bit of an injury from US Open

As I said in another thread in the last 16 months he has played 117 singles matches (+19 doubles matches) so he is certainly entitled to some time off.

Ideally he would be having a couple of weeks off right now but with the Davis Cup that isn't on the cards so missing part or all of the Asian swing makes sense. We will find out next week if he has entered qualifying for Tokyo or Beijing. If he doesn't enter one of those I doubt he will go all the way to China just for the Shanghai Masters. He has entered Stockholm in week 42 which might add weight to the idea of missing the whole Asian swing and then playing the full 3 weeks of the European indoor swing.

His worst case scenario now would be to finish the season ranked about 70 which would still be a great starting point for next season. Therefore he has no reason to overplay during the Autumn and he can focus on being will rested and prepared for 2017.

Liam is a hitting party with the DC group next week.

To add to my earlier post.  After DC Liam has entered a 25k+H in France for the week beginning 19th.  Not sure about this week but theres every chance he'll turn up somewhere now he's back playing.

The entry list for the 10k at Roehampton is out - and surprise, surprise, it looks pretty much like the original list for Nottingham. There are loads of players on the list with priority 3,4, 5 or 6 so after the withdrawal deadline expect to see a largely GB entry again.

No apology needed Paulisi.  You do a great job.

Tables updated - very little changes.

Roehampton is so much stronger than Nottingham. Not too many cheap points for GB players.

Wonder if it's to do with proximity and ease of air flights.

Pleased to see Laura Sainsbury's name down on the list - wondered where she's been, these past couple of months.

The London tournaments seems to be better attended than the rest of the GB tournaments by the overseas contingent mainly due to ease of getting there.

Still no sign of Sam Murray - slightly worrying.

Beth into main draw at Roehampton - there are now 21 out of 24 Brits listed in qualifying, with 17 of the top 18 alts as well.

Dom Inglot is in the Chengdu Doubles entry list playing with Zimonjic next week. Jonny Marray and Shamasdin are in the alt list...

Beth was always in the main draw as qualifying starts on Sunday and Nottingham finishes on Saturday, so no SE.

The wildcards are Emma Hurst, Laura Sainsbury, Hannah McColgan, Eden Richardson

Emma is 1 out, so a chance she may sneak in directly and free up a wildcard. Harsh on Olivia, Lauryn, Gemma and Alicia after their runs this week.

(Edited - read wrong line on ITF)

I think it's Emma Hurst who's got the wildcard, not Eden Silva

Well I always assumed she would be in the main draw, but the acceptance list didn't show that yesterday.

(Keep up the good work, much appreciated !)

With various withdrawals, James Ward is now 6th away on the alt list for Shenzhen qualies...not sure if many more will fall away over next couple of days, anyone know when it cuts off for qualifying in a ATP250?
