Perhaps distracted by the impossibly picturesque surroundings in Poertschach, Fran is finding it hard going, 2-6 *2-3

Mary Ann LIU seems a bit unusual. Aged 27, never had a ranking. Has been playing $25k and $50k clay tournaments in Australia, but never won a main draw match. No ITF matches recorded before Feb 2015, although there are some junior matches from 10 years ago.

Now trying her luck in $10k's in Europe - and getting her first ever main draw win at Fran's expense.
