Good job I didn't drive down to Sevilla for the weekend.  It was definitely on my list of things to do.

I'm a bit mystified at the low number of Brits in 10Ks and 25Ks in the last couple of weeks. None of the GB no. 7-16 women have played on the ITF Pro Circuit since week 32, though Katie Swan has been playing junior events.

It's a particular pity next week (i.e. week 36, the one on this thread) given how unusually weak many of the entry lists are, though that must mean it's not just the middle-ranking Brits who aren't going to be that active on the circuit next week.

Yes, exactly.

On the men's side, you've got the 25k+H event in France, with direct entrance into the MD down to about WR 1000.

With no hotel/food bills to pay, the R1 money pays for airfare.

Several of the others are very attractive, too.

Emily Webley-Smith is in Dalian qualifying, playing Aleksandrina Naydenova (5) 2nd match after 1pm start (local)

on 4th.  Only 16 in qualifying so 8 non-seeded playing 8 seeds and 4 to qualify. This is from ATP live scoreboard. MD not posted.

Laura D seems to be carrying an injury. Not been her normal standard for months. Still no sign of Anna Brogan ???

Laura has been playing this weekend in the Aegon Team Tennis finals - results on the general thread under European tennis

Good to see Laura is playing, but not where she should be (CH=629 (21/09/2015)) - as for Anna (CH=564 (22/06/2015)) she seems to disappeared completely confuse

No idea about Anna B, I was wondering what had happened to her myself.  Laura D though has been injured.  There was a story going round earlier in the summer that she had hurt her arm or wrist falling of a go-kart and had eventually needed minor surgery.  That tale did co-incide with her being out for a couple of months so I assume there is some truth in it!!
