You can tell it is school holidays...

25K in Texas is a good reason why the LTA should be putting on the events at home - 6 likely in the main draw and Sam Murray elected to play in Canada at a 50K, plus Mandy either attempting WTA qualifying or a 25K in Czech R on clay

Anyone have any info on Beatrice Kight ? Has she been at Uni/college, as she only seems to have played one ITF match in three years, and is the right age ? Currently 1st alternate for Valladolid

21 YO - Lost in Q1 in Lisbon this year. Is ranked 6.1 by the LTA - no UK events played in the last year. Played a few junior events 2009-11 without winning a match. This would tend to suggest she lives in Spain or is Spain based. Doesn't seem to have played any college tennis.

Maybe just testing the waters confuse

Beatrice Kight now listed at no54 in qualifying at Valladolid, so we will find out a bit more. But a 64-entry qualifying for a 10k ? A lot of matches for so little reward.

Anybody know where Evo is on the list for Atlanta MD? Must be pretty close do a DA now if not already.

Four out as per last update on menstennisforums an hour or so ago.

First four alternates : Tursunov, Stakhovsky, Elias, Evans

Beaten to it by Indiana.

 

One thing I'll add, his ranking fell from 3 places from 92 to 95 on the week that the alt list uses to sort players, possibly costing him 1 or 2 places on the list.

There are still two SEs that will almost certainly clear so Evo has a decent shot of sneaking in. 

He could really do with that happening because if he goes deep in Lexington, which he hopefully will, he wouldn't be able to play qualifying here.
