Not great draws:

R1:

(q) Matt Brooklyn UNR v (8) Aleksandar Vukic (AUS) WR 689

Farris Gosea WR 869 v (2) Peter Polansky (CAN) WR 341 (CH 122 in Sept.14)

Farris+ play Matt+ in the doubles though so at least someone will get a win....

Congrats to Matt, who takes a career best ranking scalp to pick up his first ATP singles point at the tender age of 28, 12 years after playing his first ITF Pro Circuit event, a Satellite in Southampton!

He went to US college (UCLA) and appears to have been a US college coach for most of the time since he graduated. *

L32: (Q) Matt Brooklyn UNR beat (8) Aleksandar Vukic (AUS) WR 689 (CH 657 in Jun) by 3-6 6-4 6-2

L16: (Q) Matt Brooklyn UNR v Joshua Peck (CAN) WR 1641(=CH) (17yo junior WR 133 / CH 123 in Feb)

Well that's rather nice. Best of luck for the next round, too.
