Tough draws all round, but with 16 players seeded in a 32 draw that was guaranteed. Freya draws the shortest straw of No.1 seed Puig.

Laura keeps getting drawn against McHale, 3rd time in a Premier qualifying draw in the past year. She would expect to give her a closer match on the Eastbourne grass than the Rome clay.

With her eleventh WC in the last 52 Weeks (and not counting the one already guaranteed for SW19 again), Laura sets an all time record for all women tennis players, from any nation.
Eight of those have been at WTA level or higher - also a record.

Jo Konta is in the main draw automatically.
Heather was first alt and Naomi should get the other wildcard. If Heather doesn't require it, then we can assume that Tara has it.

No sign of Katie Swan. So I can only assume, her first and only grass event will be Wimbledon.
