Good draw that. Just need the order of play for tomorrow now. On a half day at work shouldn't be there much after half 12 for an afternoon of tennis. A bit of a shame that you can't just turn up and watch now, enjoyed being able to just stroll
In. But I do Enjoy Wimbledon Qualifying, more so than the main event!
This was in the initial announcement - just one feed as mentioned above:
A spokesperson for the All England Club said Following the announcement that we would have a feed from one of the match courts at the qualifying competition this year, we're very pleased that a number of our broadcasters have taken up the opportunity to show the matches, of which the BBC is one. The matches will also be available on Wimbledon.com.
Whatever I actually think of Slam MD WCs in the general wider sense, I rather think as things stand some other Slams with more depth than us would have gone for a Jay.
And out of interest how many other Slams often or at all tend to have some unfilled WC spots that end up going to the next in line ?
I don't think any do Indiana but The Aussies, Americans and French have quite a big pool of players to choose from in the top 300 or so it's easy enough to find players. It's usually a case of them wanting more.
So with all the WCs distributed - including two MD WCs that were not given out - this is the distribution, noting GB ranking, age, ATP ranking and status. I have no argument with the WCs that were given out. And I understand why none of the available GB players below the GB top 10 were, barring Cameron Norrie (just starting on Tour), really eligible for a MD WC. But honestly, would it have killed the AELTC or the LTA to have either bent the rules slightly for people who are relatively young (Broady/Glasspool) or allowed the number 8 player to play with a foreign partner?

1.FUCSOVICS, Marton (HUN) - Good choice, looks like he can play on grass too
2.HAAS, Tommy (GER)- great choice, always been a classy grass player, lovely sentiment this
3.KLEIN, Brydan (GBR)- odd choice, not having a spectacular year, probably deserves to be in Q
4.NORRIE, Cameron (GBR)- ok with this, youngster making his way in the game with an ok ranking
5.SHAPOVALOV, Denis (CAN)- good choice- hitting the umpire was the best thing this guy ever did, it gave him massive exposure, was a great pr stunt on the level of max clifford. Since that he has become known to the British public, and seems like a decent player too.
6.WARD, James (GBR)- no idea about this, probably deserves to be Q

You continue to show your utter heartlessness, after the umpire was off sick for weeks and needed an operation. Have you ever thought what if it was you in the umpire's situation?
