Bit of a toughie.  And rumour has it that Sara shares her brother's endearing personality traits.

Drat and doubledrat cry

Hopefully Eden can get last years form back.

Hope this rustiness rather than recurrence.

All the best to Eden smile

Pity. But just as with last week's loss to Lertcheewakarn that would hardly have been an unexpected result even for pre injury Eden, well as she was progressing through the 600s in the rankings.

Would actually have been a very good win and I see nothing to be concerned about in such a scoreline. Good to have her back.

Eden has two scorers and is not down to play in Sharm next week, so it looks like a 50K grass qualifying win will have to be her third scorer. If the draws are as weak as last year, then it should not be an issue.

Sara Tomic went on to win the singles title and the doubles to boot.

In her singles, only in her SF ( won on a third set TB against the #2 seed ) did she lose more than the 5 games she lost to Eden in R1
