Freya is using this as part of a run of events, Katy seems to be playing this as a one off tournament. Therefore I would have a slight inclination towards Katy this time.

QR1: Freya Christie WR 379 beat (q6) Katy Dunne WR 322 6-3 6-3

QR2: Freya Christie WR 379 vs Giola Barbieri (ITA) WR 377 (CH 170 15/09/14) - clearly quite an impressive CH for the 24 yo, less than 2 years ago, a 3 set winner over young Sara Tomic in QR1

For the first time a point doesn't help Freya's overall ranking total since she reached the maximum 16 counters last week, so hopefully can go at least one stage further, indeed have a good week, to get a good counter on board.

Dreadful QR1 draw and on recent form, hardly a surprising result. Hopefully Katy won't be the only opponent against whom Freya will avenge a 2015 loss this weekend!
