Looks like he could meet everyone's favorite Latino grandfather in the qf too!

James now playing, on the livestream, wearing an uncharacteristically subdued plain-ish white outfit.

2-1, on serve

James took the set 7-5

Although not spectacular of flamboyant (and although not without its scary moments - the break points), that was about the best set of tennis I've seen James play in the last 6 months or so.

James is serving well. His returns could be better, but Montanes gifted the break - 3 DF's??

Yes, I know. Isn't it wonderful to see a guy play a good set and then suddenly blow up at the end - AND IT'S NOT OUR GUY !!!! smile

 It's still pretty awful.

Look on the bright side, it's nowhere near as awful as last week ....

Just call me a glass-half-full-sort-of person smile

It's a lot better than the last couple of weeks....

James is 4-1 up, but it has been gifted to him.

No, last week was dire. Really dire. This is OK. Not more. But OK.
