Consolidates a second set break.
6-3 4-1*

Not messing about.
6-3 *5-1

250 places in the rankings are nothing for Lisa in her climb back up. She summarily dispatches the higher seed.
GSM Whybourn 6-3 6-1

Qualifier spots in the MD look very favourable. 2 Q vs Q, 2 Q vs WC, only one against a seed. So here's hoping for a kind draw.

Katy has WR 268, Okuno, from Japan; but I'll wait to properly put the matches down until they can be done together.

Lisa gets another qualifier, Chiang - very winnable

Katy's draw is reasonable - must have half a chance.

Great job in the qualies from Lisa there :D
Yep, decent R1 with 4th seed likely awaiting the winner

Katy has the tougher R1; she'll meet Lisa in the QFs if they both get there.

GL both :)

Katy's opponent has hot foot it from the Mexican $25K in Puebla last week, almost literally half the world away, so that might be a factor in our favour.
