I feel a bit sorry if you are a male clay courter.

You would think you would get lots more tournaments over the Easter period as lots of juniors/students would want to play....

I think you may have omitted the Mexico 10k for the ladies. Gabriella Taylor and Eden Silva have made the MD.

Your quite right - I even mentioned on the current Mexico tournament that Gabi was hanging around in that area.

 

Looking at the entries - very good chance for Gabi to pick up more decent points

Maia withdrew on 14/03 from Greece 10K, so no entries over Easter for her.

Jonny O'Mara has withdrawn from Greece. Hoping it is not his injury still. He is down to play the following week and so is Scott Clayton. I think it most likely that they will be traveling out together, which would make sense given that Scott is listed as Jonny's coach on the ITF site  wink

Tidied up - as well as Jonny, Eden Silva and Laura Brown are notable withdrawals. Josh Sapwell has made qualifying

The Mexico 10K is very weak with just 13 players with a ranking, so good chance for Gabi to pick up more points.

Ben Davis has also flown out to Greece (according to Gosling). So I assume he's called ahead and pretty much 'knows' he'll get into the qualifiers.

Freya still on the alts list for Croissy 50K and is 5 out, but there is a MDWC and a QWC ahead which puts her 3rd alt. Given there are 2 more MDWC's not allocated and 3 French girls ahead of her, it looks like she has a good chance of getting in, if she plans on travelling.

Edit : -Further digging shows Mark Taylor is in Chessy(Twitter location), so Freya is playing qualifiers only 4 qualifying spots though....

Freya took a huge risk travelling and only got in as last qualifier due to Linette and Pliskova still playing Miami.
