Only one round of qualifying and Katie should cruise through. Mirabelle beat with bakery products.

Not a bad draw given there are a couple of decent players in qualifying including Flink.

Laura Deigman should be in the main draw and assuming Katie qualifies there are 3 or 4 decent seeded players plus Flink she needs to avoid for that final point

and in the MD, Katie gets 17 year-old WC Swiss player, with a JWR of 1480 or so.

That's got to be another counter in the bag....

And it's the bit with the 28 year-old Egytpian 8th seed, and a Czech 25 year-old ranked about 850. That's a good draw.

Laura D, however, gets 4th seed French player, Romeo.

She's solid, not brilliant, properly/fairly ranked. Tara beat her quite easily a few weeks back.

But obviously not the nicest of draws.
