Week 6 - UK F2 ($10,000) - Sunderland(hard - indoor)

No main draw wildcard for JWH or Ewan Moore as they play each other in qualifiers

Full draw:

http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/tournaments/men's-tournament/info.aspx?tournamentid=1100036603

I'm guessing Liam has had to take a MD wildcard and the others have gone to Toby Martin, Alexis Canter and AN Other - possibly Ryan Storrie or Johnny Gray

He's played a couple of times this year and struggled, but is on the acceptance list.

Some QR1 results, with a very nice win for Ben Davis over Nino Portales WR 1406 and a SUPER win by Luke Oakley (one of my top picks of 'unheralded' youngsters) over the WR 868 German in QR2!!!!

(and extremely close losses for Ben Draper. George Davies and Luke Simeone):

QR1 British wins (completed):

Marcus Walters
Ben Davis
Josh WH
Finn Bass
Harry Meehan
Luke Oakley
Josh Sapwell
Josh Paris
Jack Molloy
Daniel Bennett

QR2 British wins (so far):

Luke Oakley

NB Finn Bass, age 16, lost his second round match but well done, playing a top 1000 player.

I wonder if Josh Sapwell's comment was tongue in cheek

Josh Sapwell ‏@JoshSapwell ·
Got the win this morning 6-1 6-3. Playing again in roughly 20 minutes against a British guy
