Wasserson has gone nearly a year exclusively losing in R1s on the ITF tour...with only one exception, against an American namesake of Dominique - Brittney Covington.

Dominique's win makes it four Brits who have despatched Jane in that time too smile

well, Laura D got the doddle easy first round draw last week so I guess it's not that unfair that she gets a nasty one this week.

Victoria's younger sister (Sophie, age 15) has just qualified from the qualis too.

I said 'doddle easy first round draw'   -  'doddle easy FIRST round draw' - which it was.
