FQR: (q2) Josh Milton WR 356 v Yuya Kibi (JPN) WR 664

R1: (4) Ken Skuspki & Neal Skupski v Fabrice Martin & Sanam Singh (FRA/IND)

I don't see much point in putting in the rankings for the main draw until the new ones come out.

The MD has already been made and there has been a dropout, guaranteeing at least one LL spot. So Josh has an even better chance of making the MD.

Hoping he can seal it with a win though, as that means points and cash, as well as the MD place. Real mixture of spots for those going through, ranging from Top Seed Mikhail Youzhny to WC Kittipong Wachiramanowong ranked 829 and unranked WC (and doubles specialist) Sonchat Ratiwatana. Luck of the draw, I suppose.

The LL got the doubles specialist WC!! But as far as 5th seeds go that's as good as you're likely to get!

Absolutely! It matters not one bit to me if Liam wins every match this year that way!

Josh won 6-3 6-2, very comfortable compared to last week vs the Pole, didn't even get broken all match...

Does Liam still pick up the points for that win?

Solid result for Josh that. Really positive way to get off the mark in 2016.

Liam will still get points and prize money for that win.
