Stokes 130 in the morning session, highest in test history for a morning session.
England 312 in 38.5 overs today ( for one wicket down ) at 8.1 runs an over! South Africa then spent half the day making 141 for 2 in 43 overs and 453 runs in total was still the highest ever in a test day in South Africa.
399 partnership by Stokes and Bairstow highest sixth wicket partnership in test history.
And Stokes also took all the wickets taken by a bowler in the day ( OK one, the other two were run outs ).
Sounds quite fun !! And some diversions from looking at the view in the often described most scenic test ground in the world.

fortunately Paulsi seems to be getting an altogether better all rounder experience than I did in 99 when England got the wrong end of a certain Mr Klusner (paltry 175) and the third best all rounder in the team after Kallis and Boucher, and a better view as I'd driven from Cape Town to Port Elisabeth to see them get hammered.

Also for those wondering, there are 12000 Brits over at the moment at the cricket, but the Barmy Army chantings seems to limited these days. Mainly because Thomson's bought out Barmy Army travel, the leaders now have to pay rather than get freebies, the original members are getting on now and the support seems to be split up in different areas of the ground.
The lads did their best to do your jinx justice in the second dig; to lose after posting 600+ would've been a first ;)
