Qualifying draw is out and with the Belgium top seed, it looks like a few late drop outs from the main draw entrants.

No sign of Beth, Lisa in qualifying, so they must have got wildcards. Emma Hurst has a wildcard and possibly Maia.

A lot of Brits in qualifying. I' m hoping to get down tomorrow as there are a lot of girls playing that I have never seen.

Don't see Jasmine in the Q draw but she's on the entry list. And I seem to remember she's been pretty good at getting wildcards in the past.

Wouldn't have thought Maia would race back here to play - she's not that often in the UK anyway, I believe, and doubt she's really doing all out competition yet.

Shame that Freya and Serena are drawn together straight off.

Would think Ema Lazic has a good chance against the Mexican girl (who was beaten by Emma Hurst last week).

Can't see any British wins in the other three Brit v Pesky encounters. Eden and Emily App must have the best chances.

Chloe Hughes is the local girl and putting up a decent effort.

Louise Holtum is just starting to get competitive with the talented Belgium.

Manisha very solid against Holly who is trying to force too much.

Louise lost, but played some fantastic tennis in the second set and serve for it and was 6-5 up in the breaker, but lost it 8-6

Emily Appleton is cruising against a very average Turkish girl.
