What's the plural of KOKKINAKI? I wonder if there's any connection.

R1: Q Maia Lumsden GBR UNR vs. WC Jane Wasserson USA UNR
R1: Q Aimee Gibson GBR UNR vs. (7) Szabina Szlavikovics HUN 639 (CH=525, Oct 2014)

Great draw for Maia if Wasserson's last two matches vs Brits are to go by.

Yep, no disrespect to Jane but that looks like a point for the taking for Maia.......

and Dommie Covington is also in the main draw, playing ZAGORAC, Eva (SLO) WR 767

Dominique 6-4 *4-4

This is an anti-service match, 13 breaks of service in 18 games.

Dominique takes the lead by holding her service for the 4th time in 10 attempts. It looks good as her opponent has only held twice in 9 attempts.

They have both remembered how to serve, four holds in a row, so into the tie break. Dominique had one match point at 5-4*

I wonder how many attempt Dominique has had at first round matches? That first point has been rather elusive.

That's a very good win on paper
