I see that in live rankings Harry W looks like he will end up very close to the top 500 on 12/06.

With the French Open being a week later this year, effectively 3 weeks of 2022 points will be coming off at 12/06 and live WR 500 is now 73 points, with Harry live 507 on 71 points. Sooo near.

Presumably that live 73 points will add a few though as this week progresses as it already has the points taken out but not the points for this week accounted for totally, yet?

Not really since the only players that can add further points by Monday are players still in the French Open or this week's challengers since this week's futures won't add in until 19/06. Looking at the live-tennis site I don't see any players outside the top 500 being shown as potentially increasing their points total. So the cross-over should stick at 73 points.

Watching Dan Little closely this week. In a 15k and seeded 5. Already through to L16. Should he win the title, he will go to 72 points.

Even 73 points.

He is currently on 58 points. 15 points would be added next week to take him to 73 points on 19/06. Though would that be enough then?

I thought the 58 points that Live Rankings were showing was already including his 1 point for making R2.  So I was adding 14 more.

No. The live-tennis site is only updating to the next rankings on 12/06. His futures points ( indeed 1 so far ) will not add in on that site until next week.

ie. similar reasoning as my previous post to Jon in that the live site already contains all future points due to add on 12/06  ( but not these adding at 19/06 ) so 73 points should remain the top 500 mark for 12/06, with Dan potentially reaching 73 points on 19/06.

All rather academic now - sadly.  But you were right about the points, as always.

Men's singles WR for w/c 12 Jun

So in the most net points YTD, Jan continues to eke out a small lead at the top of the chart. Cam moves back up the chart to 2nd place and George inches closer to +100 net points for the year.  Of the players who have been struggling in the rankings, Oscar finds himself in the unenviable position at being at the top for biggest drop in WR, while two former GB Top10 players (Jay and Paul) also make an appearance in the chart.  In better news, GB players are now less than 10 WR places from finally achieving 20 players inside the Top500, thanks to Harry's climb up the rankings this week.

Men's doubles WR for w/c 12 Jun

So things at the top of the net points YTD chart have tightened up since the last posting. Julian still holds the lead, but Luke has cut his lead to 31 points. Of those experiencing a poor year so far, it's Felix who finds himself dropping the most in the WRs, thanks to a big fall this week. Week on week, there are some pretty big moves inside the Top600 (up and down), but none bigger than Liam's 677 leap up the rankings to inside the Top500.

Women's singles WR for w/c 12 Jun

So congratulations to Katie achieving GB#1 in the WRs, thanks in part to her being able to maintain her ranking while others around her couldn't. Katie also makes it to 2nd place in the net points YTD chart, however Fran continues to maintain a substantial lead. In the chart of WR drops, Matilda finds herself at the top, just slightly 'ahead' of Beth. Sonay is the highest ranked player in this chart, who despite having dropped 66 places still manages to cling to place in the GB Top10.  Week on week, it's generally a down week for the GB players inside the Top600, with Katie Swan and Maia being notable exceptions.

Much like in the men's charts, the top of the net points YTD chart is nip and tuck. Sam's plunge down the WRs this week, and Heather's not quite as big fall, means they both now make an appearance in the chart for biggest drop in WR YTD.  However for the moment at least it is Kristina who finds herself atop the chart.

Am I right?

Is Harry W one set away from untold fame and fortune??? (well, fame at any rate - or fame on this site, at double any rate, and eternal gratitude from Bob?)

He almost certainly was. But alas ...

In theory there are enough relevantly ranked players still in the Colombian Challenger that could knock Giles Hussey ( live ranked 497 ) out of the top 500 but that is extremely unlikely.
