Having lost the second, and going a break down in the third, Savannah comes through and wins the third 6-3 !!

A nice ranking point

Her first one, I believe.

And Savannah should also get special credit for not being called Emily or Katie......

It's better than that - she won QR1 at Eastbourne 50K and QR1 & QR2 at Surbiton 50K, so this is the third counting score she needs to get a WTA singles ranking for the first time

Well, the chances were always pretty much slim to non-existent but Savannah put up a good fight in the second set:
