Manisha served for a straight sets win against the 3rd seed twice but Stamatova broke back both times and eventually won the tiebreak 7-5

Laura is 1 set all but a break down in the 3rd

Wow, what a result from Manisha - beating the 3rd seed, ranked top 500 !!!

And after being out of competition for so long, really, too.....

Shame for Laura - Lucie W is only 16 but a promising youngster.
