Unusually for a British player Robyn used to play quite often in South and Central America. She reached a CH of 925. She is now 22 having played from 2009 to 2013.
I always assumed the Beddow family to be wealthy keeping their kids travelling to tournaments etc. At least that's an assumption unless she works and travels be good if anyone knew. Think we asked at the time and nobody was sure.
I know of Robyn having practiced with her a few times. Her family is not considerably wealthy as far as I know. I do know that she herself works to support the cost - or at least most of it. She is actually a very good player, much better than her results, but I think mentally she breaks down in matches. She is definitely top 500 material as long as she gets her head figured out..... hope she can get some guidance.
