Actually, CD, I think you'll find that Riba's CH was 65 in May 2010.  81 in June that year is his doubles CH.  wink

Tough draw for James.  bleh

... and that Riba's singles WR is 324, with 282 being his doubles WR.

The ATP site strikes again and err again

PS : his singles CH of 65 appears to be from May 2011.

Opening post duly edited.  We seem to be making a right dog's breakfast of the "stats" this morning! wink

don't know why the ATP seems to "choose" the higher ranking of singles and doubles on a player homepage - even though a player ranked similarly for each is v much likely to be a "singles player".
not even obvious if its singles or doubles selected either...!

Now you know why I rarely include such stats - I'd be shown up too often.

And after all, a not unsurprising result:

QR1:  (q8) Pere Riba (ESP) WR 324 defeated James Marsalek WR 706 by 2 & 2  cry

But at least an interesting thread! That was a really rough draw - pity that someone testing out challengers should get it.

There's another tough draw in the doubles - & an interesting choice of partner for Neal S:

R1:  (1) Marcus Daniell & Marcelo Demoliner (NZL/BRA) CR 149 (69+80) vs Flavio Cipolla (ITA) & Neal Skupski CR 247 (129+118) bleh

I guess Neal is trying to play "catch-up" after Ken's success and rankings rise a couple of weeks back.
