Laura's sure picking her draws since she came back - not, but she now does look very capable of winning this match and hopefully a few more.

Would be great to see Cav getting a win or two too.

All the best, girls.

If Laura does win, she could face Ellie Halbauer again in the 2nd round

Laura beat Stefkova in the doubles last week, and Jo beat her in the singles, so should be fine, more worried about R2, but an opportunity for revenge hopefully.

So Laura skipped seeds 3 & 4 in her come back and went straight to No. 5, but the main fact is she is 289 in the world and someone Laura is well capable of beating. Stefkova lost to JoKo in R1 last week, but then Jo beat everyone so that doesn't mean too much.

A rematch with Halbauer would be interesting, a chance for Laura to set the record straight or for Halbauer to prove her win last week wasn't all down to Laura being tired.
