Josh M keeps plugging away on the Challenger circuit:
L32: (Q) Markos Kalovelonis (RUS) WR 860 (CH = 637 in May last year) vs Josh Milton WR 309 (CH = 284 last month)
Getting the better of the qualifier means he pockets eight points & $1,290. He'll now have the dubious privilege of squaring up to Kuku (WR 58), the top seed playing in his home tournament (or a Korean WC).

Josh has had a good last few months so shouldn't be too disheartened. A disappointing result today but he's in much better shape generally than he was a year ago.
L32: (Q) Markos Kalovelonis (RUS) WR 858 (CH = 637 in May last year) beat Josh Milton WR 286 (CH = 284 last month) 3-6, 6-3, 6-2
... and actually Josh has now lost 2 ( lost in Glasgow L32 in early February after qualifying ).
Is now 5-2 in challenger L32s this year ( 2-2 on hard and 3-0, including one Ed Corrie retiral, on grass ).
Some pretty good wins there, most notably on grass, going on to reach the QFs on the 3 grass occasions and on hard in Italy last week.
Poor looking result today after a good two or three months. It will be interesting to see if he can hold a good level for the rest of the year, or even push on, on hard courts.
