Thanks paulisi. I think the Washington ATP is a 500, not a 250.

Apologies for the delay - been a bit busy. I didn't even check the ATP/WTA event status, I just assumed.....

I wonder if he's withdrawn to attempt the qualifying for Sergovia?

He was on the qualifying list for Segovia, but withdrew. He can still sign in for qualifying though...(I think)

It'd be great to see Evo turn up for Segovia followed by Portoroz qualifying

He should definitely have a rest after his past few weeks but make sure he does keep the fantastic momentum he has going while its there!

Just seen a picture of Marcus, the amount of weight he has lost since the start of the year is nothing short of incredible. Hope he tries Segovia.

Was just looking at the entry lists posted on the mens Tennis forum for Washington. James Ward appears in the Qualifying one(1) but no Kyle Edmund, but Edmund appears in Alternates for the main draw(2) although he has stated after the Binghamton win about playing Washington. Maybe he has a Wildcard.

Marcus Willis @Willbomb90 Jul 26

Weighed in at 92.6kg this morning. Stop it. Just the 22.8 kg lost since Nov. #willyweightloss #curlers #7togo

he was 115kg last year?? I don't think I know a tennis player that comes close - even Isner is only 108kg and he's 6'9!

Mind you as Cav said previously, it's not the size that matters, it's whether you can maximise on your natural physical attributes and tailor it for your game style.... for a 6'2, big-serving, power player 90-95kg is probably about right, but it's all relative really

I think you have to take into account that Marcus is big boned, so will always be a few kilos heavier than someone of similar height.

There's a few and a few !

But certainly well done to Marcus. Hopefully his resolve about that issue will spread through all aspects of his tennis if he wants to take all the steps he can to be the best that he can be.

If he doesn't, his choice

No MDWC for Kyle, so I assume its qualies.
