In a word, no, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything! wink  He's 24 & doesn't feature in the ATP data base, while this all you get when you check the ITF site! disbelief

Looks like he played a few games back in 2007 - record of 0-4 in two Aussie and two Kiwi Futures events. Didn't win a set.

I guess he would have only been 17 back then...

Which rather prompts the question:  "how come he bagged a WC at an Italian Challenger"?

He still hasn't won a set, though he came close...

QR1:  (WC) Simone Codovini (ITA) UNR defeated (WC) Joshua Oxley UNR by 7-6(3) 6-4

Codovini served for the match at 5-3 in the second...

Bedene won the title in 2014. He has Bolelli to contend with this time. I think this tournament boasts six ATP top 100 players in the main draw this year. Its a great example of a club working together with a sponsor well away from the suffocating clutches of an overarching national federation and its corporate partner. Brilliant!

Where does this kind of initiative appear in the LTA strategic plan?

Aljaz won a monster first set breaker to 11 and is coasting at 4-1 in the second.

Gerald Melzer can play some pretty good stuff on clay so that's a decent win. Hoping that Aljaz can get some good consolidation in these tournaments in case his ATP dabbling falls a bit flat.
