There are a few more girls entered, but not many first preferences - so we will have to see where they end up. I expect some to go across to US to play 50K

Just wondered, would Dan Evans consider giving Newport qualies a go?

I see that Mark Philippoussis is making a shock comeback at the age of 38 there! The daft thing is that the qualifying draw is usually so weak he may actually have a chance of making the main draw!

Paulisi - where do you get your information from? I've tried the ITF website but I feel the information you provide is more in depth than this... Is it the individual tournament sites or...?

Surprised Harriet isn't going to the US with the others.

Following losses in the singles today at Frinton, and Milts withdrawing from the doubles too, both Ed Corrie and Josh Milton have withdrawn from Felixstowe - obviously everything is not all as it should be . . . wishing a speedy recovery . .

Not necessarily. Ed is due to go out to the States shortly and may wish to go out early.

I think Ed is carrying a bit of an injury though not sure what? Am I right in saying Liam is in the States.....could he be trying Newport? I wish someone would, its been a happy hunting ground in the past and the cut seems to be dropping lower than ever!

hope he does, it's been a good hunting ground for lower ranked Brits over the years

I think Bambo is in the States too so maybe him as well

My guess is that Ed and Milts have been asked to hit for the DC team as Brydan, Kyle and Liam are already out in the States.
